Best time at the Pep Rally

Best time at the Pep Rally

On Friday, September 22 was the pep rally. Students and staff gathered in the gym and celebrate spirit week and had the homecoming assembly.

Many were exited and looking forward to seeing the coronation of who would be king and queen. The king turned out to be Deville Dentis and the queen was MaryKate Walling. I asked students if they felt Deville and MaryKate should have won king and queen. Cheerleader Bayley Boran said, “I have friends who were nominated, but they look like a cute couple so yeah.” Many were happy and proud they won.

A lot of people were there, and I asked some students why they choose to arrive with who they went with. Sophomore Rebecca Arias said, “I went with close friends to go with, and we enjoyed ourselves.” I also asked some students why they didn’t go. They said, “Were just not into that type of stuff”. Those who went truly enjoyed themselves and felt those who didn’t missed out.

I also asked what students thought went well and what they liked the most. Rebecca Arias said, “I like the dance team, and the cheerleaders did a good job.” Bayley Boran said, “My stunt group didn’t get up, but something good that went well is we memorized the dance.”

I asked Bailey how long it took for her to plan and get ready for the pep rally. She said, “It took us about, eight weeks.” All the time and effort that was put into the pep rally truly paid off as students were entertained and had a good time.
